Position Overview:
As a Supply Delivery Volunteer with GAHS, you will ensure timely pick-up and delivery of essential supplies such as food, medication, and other necessities. Your efforts will directly contribute to the well-being of animals and the smooth operation of our organization. If you commit to animal well-being, a reliable vehicle, and a willingness to make a positive impact, we invite you to join our dedicated team of supply delivery volunteers.
Responsibilities:
- Supply Pick-up:
- Collect supplies from designated locations, including but not limited to food, medication, and other necessary items.
- Delivery Coordination:
- Coordinate with the Supply Delivery Coordinator to schedule delivery assignments.
- Confirm delivery locations, times, and any specific instructions.
- Timely Delivery:
- Ensure the timely and reliable delivery of supplies to designated destinations, including foster homes or other relevant locations.
- Communication:
- Maintain clear and open communication with the Supply Delivery Coordinator and other team members.
- Report any issues or changes in schedule promptly.
- Documentation:
- Keep accurate records of each delivery assignment, including the supplies’ delivery details and any special instructions.
