Position Overview:
As a Grant Writing Volunteer with GAHS, you will be crucial in securing essential funding for our organization. Your expertise in grant writing and a keen eye for funding opportunities will contribute to the sustainability and growth of our programs. If you have a passion for animal well-being, excellent writing skills, and a commitment to securing resources for our cause, we invite you to join our team of dedicated grant-writing volunteers.
Responsibilities:
- Grant Application Assistance:
- Collaborate with the Grant Writing Coordinator to assist in preparing and submitting grant applications.
- Research and gather information required for grant proposals.
- Funding Opportunity Research:
- Stay informed about potential funding opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other relevant sources.
- Regularly update the organization on new and applicable grant opportunities.
- Proposal Development:
- Contribute to developing compelling grant proposals, ensuring alignment with the organization’s goals and mission.
- Work closely with program coordinators to gather relevant data and information.
- Grant Reporting:
- Assist in preparing grant reports, ensuring accurate and timely submission to funding agencies.
- Communication:
- Maintain clear and open communication with the Grant Writing Coordinator and other team members.
- Report any challenges or changes in the grant application process promptly.
