Sputnik is starting to settle in with his new family and has found his favourite “safe” place slowly venturing out a little at a time. The resident cat is showing great respect, curiously waiting at the bedroom door (see photos kindly shared by his new guardians in the comments). 
Sputnik settled into his foster home in short order. However, Smokey, the resident cat, really isn’t keen on having a roommate, so unfortunately it won’t be a permanent living arrangement.
Sputnik is a well-mannered, affectionate 12 year-old gentleman. He’s happy as a clam in his favourite “cube” but also loves to venture out to seek pets, a little lovin’ and head bonks. He had a thorough vet check on Dec 12th when he received updated vaccinations, including rabies. Sputnik is healthy, his teeth are okay, and overall he’s doing well.
Thanks to a donation in support of Sputnik’s rehoming, his adoption fee is waived. He comes with his own bed, blankets, litter box etc.
