Update June 1, 2025: Something about how happy we are Piper found an amazing family. Dawn-Ann says “Piper has settled in quite well. She has unpacked the toy box again and again. She loves to play. She follows my 9 yr old around like a long lost friend.” She had a shower today and is scheduled for a full grooming soon.
Even though it was a very wet muddy day, Piper’s beauty shines through. Med sized about 40-45#, when she’s dry, her gorgeous colours are even more brilliant. She’s a sensitive, friendly, playful 2 1/2 yr old Scotch Collie, good with kids, other dogs, cats and the farm animals she currently lives with. As with all collies, Piper needs stimulation and attention. She’s very smart and wants to please so with a gentle and firm hand she will learn quickly and could be trained to a high standard. She will walk with a leash and has decent recall. Piper will thrive with 1-2 hours of exercise a day making her a perfect companion for someone who likes to hike, beach walk, play fetch or do obedience or trick training. If you have an active lifestyle and a fenced yard Piper could be your best and most loyal companion.
