May 19th, 2025 Update:
“Yesterday was 8 months since Nugget found his furever home with us and he is thriving! We seem to have his skin under control with a mixture of medicine, allergy immunotherapy and a weekly bath. The attached pics were taken last week at his monthly vet visit. He’s completely off the Prednisone, and we’re hoping to take him off the cytopoint starting in June. He’s on a daily Atopica with a ketoconazole as well as a daily squirt of his immunotherapy liquid – we did an allergy panel and it came back very strong for dust mites.
Nugget, our lovable furry friend, has found his FOREVER HOME! This sweet guy’s unique needs were met with love and care, and he’s thriving.
Thanks to his new family, Nugget’s sensitivities are under control, and his wonderful personality shines through. He’s enjoying a comfortable routine, playful times, and snuggle-filled days.

Here is his latest update from his new gaurdians:
Nugget is doing well, adapting well. Minnie and he seem to have sorted out their differences. He’s settling into a nice daily routine and seems comfortable enough that he doesn’t even eat all his food at once and just nibbles on it throughout the day. His skin is doing much better as we are bathing him twice a week and he now seems resigned to going into our walk-in shower on his own for them 
. He really is a sweetheart and his playful and gentle personality is slowly coming out. He’s scheduled for his cytopoint injection on Tuesday, as well as his vaccinations. I have attached a few photos (although I’m sure by now he’s getting tired of me snapping photos of him lol).
