Meet Duke! Duke is a sweet and gentle 7 month old Pitbull/Labrador mix. He is good with kids, and has been doing great learning how to walk nicely on leash, and enjoy the world around him. Duke is a young pup and he will need basic training, but he is very eager to learn. Duke will need a patient family who will take the time to teach him basic house manners, and provide lots of opportunity for growth and development.
Duke will thrive in an environment with a schedule, and where he can receive ample exercise for his body and mind. Duke does well with other dogs, but it is unknown whether Duke is good with cats. He has shown no interest in chasing birds or squirrels, he’s much too busy smiling at his guardians and smelling everything around him.
If you’re looking for a snuggle bug, enjoy long walks and training, and have a fenced yard, Duke would be the most loyal companion. Duke has a vet appointment in June to be neutered and receive some vaccinations. After Duke is healed, he will be ready for his forever home!
