Copper is a year-old Plott Hound/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix with boundless energy and a sweet, loving personality. He really enjoys meeting new people and gets along well with other dogs; we don’t know if he gets along with cats.
Copper needs some training to learn proper leash etiquette, but he is house trained and doesn’t tend to chew on things like shoes. He does tend to jump up with excitement when meeting strangers, so he will need some guidance and direction when it comes to interactions with new people. Copper does well with kids but will need supervision due to the jumping.
Gwaii Animal Helpline Society will cover the cost of Copper’s vet check, vaccinations, and neutering.
