We are completely dependent on donations and grants to function. All our funds are used to help animals in need of care and support on Haida Gwaii. Ways that you can contribute are listed below.
Donate Funds
Every dollar contributed goes back into providing our community programs and to cover the expenses for animals in our care. Our organization is solely run by volunteers, contributions and funding, and would not be possible without support from the community.
Donate Art, Pet Supplies and More
We accept new or gently used art, household items, and pet supplies that can be resold to support our programs. If you would like to donate an item, please contact us at gwaiianimalhelpline@gmail.com. Donated items are available for purchase at the Gnarly Burl and 100% of sales are donated to the GAHS. The Gnarly Burl’s hours are variable and posted on Facebook.
Sponsorship
We are also very grateful for sponsorship of one of our programs or for emergency surgeries for a specific animal! If you are interested in being a sponsor, please contact us at gwaiianimalhelpline@gmail.com. We will ensure that your funds are directed to the program of your choice.
